Our Family Law Department provides a wide range of legal services, including advice and representation in matters such as divorce and separation, child arrangements, domestic abuse, financial disputes, care proceedings, special guardianship, and other related issues.
Our professional fees are generally charged on an hourly rate of £250 plus VAT. This reflects the expertise and time required to deal with your matter thoroughly and effectively.
In appropriate cases we may agree a fixed fee arrangement, which will be confirmed in writing before any work is undertaken. Fixed fees are considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on the complexity of the matter and your individual circumstances.
As an example, the fixed fee for preparing a simple Will is £450 plus VAT. Fixed fees for other services may be agreed following discussion of your requirements.
Please note that disbursements — such as court fees, barristers’ fees, expert reports, or other third-party expenses — are not included in our professional fees. These will be set out separately and will remain your responsibility.
